It had been a while since we’d been to a Rodeo, when Matt was actually riding bulls we’d go all the time. This is Kendall Rodeo in NSW, it was a nice day out, and included all the favourites, barrel racing, novice bullride (the kids version of this is so cute.. look at the little guy in the last photo! As well as Bareback Bronc and Saddle Bronc, not to mention the Open Bull Riding! It was a sweltering hot day, but being behind the camera helped take my mind off it, hope you enjoy the photos…..
This post is part of Aussie Wordless Wednesday over at My Little Drummer Boys be sure to head over there to discover some more great blogs and photographs.
These have got to be some of the best Wordless Wednesday photos I’ve ever seen! We used to go to the rodeo all the time. My uncle used to ride. Your photography is fantastic, such amazing action shots. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Laney! A much appreciated comment, so glad you enjoy the photos! There is just something about capturing the action of Rodeo that is hard to match against any other sport, and I’ve been waiting quite a while to try out a new lens, so knowing the images portray that action makes me super, super happy 🙂 x
Amazing photos!!
You are right, the last one is great! Well actually they all are great. I haven’t been to rodeo in ages. I think I will be taking the kids to the next local one, they will love it!
